حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

نَهَى عَنْ حَبَلِ الْحَبَلَةِ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ يَبْتَاعُهُ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، وَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَبْتَاعُ الْجَزُورَ إِلَى أَنْ تُنْتَجَ النَّاقَةُ، ثُمَّ تُنْتَجُ الَّتِي فِي بَطْنِهَا

Translation

✧ He forbade habal al-habala (the sale of the offspring of the offspring of a pregnant camel). He said: The people of the Jahiliyyah used to buy it; a man would buy a she-camel to be delivered when the she-camel gives birth, then when the one in her belly gives birth.
