حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ، فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا، وَالْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بِإِقَامَةٍ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ، قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ؟ قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

✧ I prayed with Ibn Umar the maghrib and ʿisha prayers at al-Muzdalifa. He prayed maghrib as three rakʿahs and ʿisha as two rakʿahs with one iqama. When he finished, a man said to him: What is this prayer, O Abu ʿAbd al-Rahman? He said: I prayed it with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
