حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، كُلَّمَا رَفَعَ، وَكُلَّمَا وَضَعَ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ، عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ، عَنْ يَسَارِهِ

✧ He asked Abdullah b. Umar about the prayer of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said: God is greatest, whenever he raised and whenever he lowered. Then he said: Peace be upon you and the mercy of God, to his right; peace be upon you and the mercy of God, to his left.
