✧ Abdullah b. al-Zubayr led us in prayer in the dark before dawn while Ibn Umar was beside me. When he said the salam, I said: “What is this prayer, O Abu Abd al-Rahman?” He said: “This was our prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and with Abu Bakr and Umar. When Umar was killed, Uthman made it later when it became light.”
