حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِإِنْسَانٍ كَانَ كَثِيرَ الْأَكْلِ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: الْمُؤْمِنُ يَأْكُلُ فِي مِعَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَالْكَافِرُ يَأْكُلُ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَمْعَاءٍ. فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُومِنُ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ

Translation

✧ He said to a man who ate a lot: “The Messenger of God ﷺ said: ‘The believer eats in one intestine, and the disbeliever eats in seven intestines.’” The man said: “As for me, I believe in God and His Messenger.”
