✧ Our Lord, Blessed and Exalted, marvels at two men: a man who rises from his blanket and his bed, from among his tribe and his family, to his prayer. Allah says to His angels, 'O My angels, look at this servant of Mine. He rose from between his bed and his blanket, from among his tribe and his family, to his prayer, out of desire for what is with Me and out of fear of what is with Me.' And a man who fought in the way of Allah and his companions fled, and he knew what was upon him for fleeing and what was for him in returning, so he returned until his blood was shed. Allah says to His angels, 'Look at this servant of Mine. He returned out of desire for what is with Me and out of fear of what is with Me.'
