حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ، يَذْكُرُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَخْرُجُ إِلَيْنَا، فَيَقُولُ: إِنِّي لَأُخْبَرُ بِمَكَانِكُمْ، فَمَا يَمْنَعُنِي أَنْ أَخْرُجَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا كَرَاهِيَةُ أَنْ أُمِلَّكُمْ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَخَوَّلُنَا بِالْمَوْعِظَةِ فِي الْأَيَّامِ كَرَاهِيَةَ السَّآمَةِ عَلَيْنَا
Translation

✧ Abdullah used to come out to us and say: I am informed of your location, and nothing prevents me from coming out to you except the dislike of wearying you. The Messenger of God ﷺ used to give us admonition at intervals on some days, disliking boredom for us.
