✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ in my dream, and I complained to him of the crookedness and stubbornness I had encountered from his community, and I wept. He said to me: Do not weep, O Ali; and he turned, so I turned, and behold, two men were climbing up, and there were boulders with which their heads were being crushed until they split open; then it would return — or he said: it would go back. He said: Then I went to Ali in the morning as I used to go to him every day, until when I was among the leather-workers I met the people, and they said: The Commander of the Faithful has been killed.
