✧ A man from the People of the Book came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: “Indeed, God holds the heavens on one finger, the earths on one finger, the mountains and trees on one finger, the water and soil on one finger, and all creatures on one finger.” Then he said: “I am the King.” He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ laughed until his molars showed, then recited this verse: “They have not appraised God with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand” [Q 39:67], the verse. I said to Ibrahim: “In this world or in the Hereafter?” He said: “In this world.”

machine translationThis narration is the sound, verified one (al-riwāyah al-ṣaḥīḥah al-muḥaqqaqah). As for the narration of the one who added to this wording "as a confirmation of it," it is worthless, because it is from the words of the narrator, and it is false (bāṭilah).
