✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ prayed a prayer. Ibrahim said: I do not know whether he added or omitted. When he said the salam, it was said to him, 'O Messenger of God, has something new happened in the prayer?' He said, 'No, and what is that?' They said, 'You prayed such and such.' He said: He folded his leg, faced the qiblah, and made two prostrations, then said the salam. When he said the salam, he turned his face toward us and said, 'If something new had happened in the prayer, I would have informed you of it. But I am only a human being like you; I forget as you forget. So when I forget, remind me. If one of you doubts in the prayer, let him seek what is right and complete accordingly, then say the salam, then make two prostrations.'
