Chain of narrators
- ʿAbdullāh
- al-Nabī ﷺ
✧ Satan has despaired of being worshiped in the land of the Arabs, but he will be content with you with less than that, with the trivial sins, which are the destructive ones on the Day of Resurrection. Beware of injustices as much as you can, for the servant will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds, thinking that they will save him. A servant will keep standing and saying: O Lord, Your servant wronged me in some way. And He will say: Erase from his good deeds. It will continue like that until no good deed remains for him because of the sins. The parable of that is like a group of travelers who stopped in a desert with no firewood with them. The people dispersed to gather firewood, and it was not long before they gathered it, made a great fire, and cooked what they wanted. Thus are sins.
