وَعَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ، حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدَّيْهِ

Translation

  3. ʿAbdullāh

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give salutation to his right and to his left: 'Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah,' until the whiteness of his cheeks could be seen.
