حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَشْوَعَ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ الْكِنَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ
أَنَّهُ دَعَا صَاحِبَ شُرْطَتِهِ، فَقَالَ: انْطَلِقْ فَلَا تَدَعْ قَبْرًا إِلَّا سَوَّيْتَهُ، وَلَا زُخْرُفًا إِلَّا وَضَعْتَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَلْ تَدْرِي فِيمَا بَعَثْتُكَ ؟ بَعَثْتُكَ فِيمَا بَعَثَنِي فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
