Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed the spoils of Hunayn at al-Ji'irranah. They crowded around him, and he said, 'A servant among the servants of Allah was sent by Allah to a people, but they denied him, beat him, and wounded him.' Abd Allah said, 'It is as if I am looking at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the size of a saddle, and he said like this: My Lord, forgive my people, for they do not know.'
