حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ الْإِسْلَامَ بَدَأَ غَرِيبًا، وَسَيَعُودُ كَمَا بَدَأَ، فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ قَالَ: قِيلَ: وَمَا الْغُرَبَاءُ ؟ قَالَ: النُّزَّاعُ مِنَ الْقَبَائِلِ

Translation

✧ Indeed, Islam began as something strange, and it will return as it began, so glad tidings to the strangers. He said: It was said, “Who are the strangers?” He said: Those who withdraw from the tribes.
