حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ:

رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِي، فَقَالَ: هَذَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ، مَقَامُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ

✧ I saw Abdullah b. Mas'ud stone Jamrat al-Aqabah from the bottom of the valley and say: This, by the One besides whom there is no deity, is the standing place of the one upon whom Surat al-Baqarah was sent down.
