حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدَ بْنَ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ مَوْلًى لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تُوُفِّيَ، فَجِيءَ بِمَالِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: هَاهُنَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ قَرَابَتِهِ ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، فَأَعْطَاهُمْ مَالَهُ

✧ A freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died, and his wealth was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: "Is there anyone here from his relatives?" They said: "Yes." So he gave them his wealth.
