حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لَهَا: يَا أُمَّهْ اكْشِفِي لِي عَنْ قَبْرِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَصَاحِبَيْهِ، فَكَشَفَتْ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةِ قُبُورٍ، لَاطِئَةٍ، مَبْطُوحَةٍ بِبَطْحَاءِ الْعَرْصَةِ الْحَمْرَاءِ، فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مُقَدَّمًا، وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ رَأْسُهُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعُمَرُ رَأْسُهُ عِنْدَ رِجْلَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

✧ I said to her, "O my mother, show me the grave of the Prophet ﷺ and his two companions." She showed me three graves, flat and level with the red gravel of the courtyard. I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the front, Abu Bakr with his head between the Prophet's shoulders ﷺ, and 'Umar with his head at the Prophet's feet ﷺ.
