حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ الَّتِي نَهَى عَنْهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَتِ: الْقَرْعُ وَالْمُزَفَّتُ: وَهِيَ جِرَارٌ خُضْرٌ مُزَفَّتَةٌ، يُجَاءُ بِهَا مِنْ مِصْرَ

✧ I asked Aisha about the vessels that the Messenger of God ﷺ prohibited. She said: The gourd and the mazaffat—which are green jars coated with pitch, brought from Egypt.
