حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ:
أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْحَصِيرِ ؟ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيرًا، قَالَتْ: لَمْ يَكُنْ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ

✧ Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray on a mat? For I heard in the Book of Allah: 'And We have made Hell for the disbelievers a mat [hasir].' She said: 'He did not used to pray on it.'
