حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَارَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادٌ النُّمَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ وَاضِعٌ خَطْمَهُ عَلَى قَلْبِ ابْنِ آدَمَ، فَإِنْ ذَكَرَ اللهَ خَنَسَ، وَإِنْ نَسِيَ الْتَقَمَ قَلْبَهُ فَذَلِكَ الْوَسْوَاسُ الْخَنَّاسُ
Translation

✧ Indeed, Satan lays his snout on the heart of the son of Adam. If he remembers God, he withdraws; and if he forgets, he devours his heart. That is the slinking whisperer.
