حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الرَّقَاشِيُّ قَالَ:
كَانَ أَنَسٌ مِمَّا يَقُولُ لَنَا إِذَا حَدَّثَنَا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ: إِنَّهُ وَاللهِ مَا هُوَ بِالَّذِي تَصْنَعُ أَنْتَ وَأَصْحَابُكَ، يَعْنِي يَقْعُدُ أَحَدُكُمْ فَتَجْتَمِعُونَ حَوْلَهُ فَيَخْطُبُ، إِنَّمَا كَانُوا إِذَا صَلَّوُا الْغَدَاةَ قَعَدُوا حِلَقًا حِلَقًا يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ، وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ الْفَرَائِضَ وَالسُّنَنَ
Translation

✧ When he related this hadith to us, Anas used to say to us: By God, it is not what you and your companions do, meaning one of you sits and you gather around him and he delivers a sermon. They would only, when they prayed the dawn prayer, sit in circles, circle by circle, reciting the Quran and learning the obligatory duties and the sunnahs.
