حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

قَدِمَ نَاسٌ مِنْ عُرَيْنَةَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَاجْتَوَوْهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنْ شِئْتُمْ أَنْ تَخْرُجُوا إِلَى إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَتَشْرَبُوا مِنْ أَبْوَالِهَا وَأَلْبَانِهَا، قَالَ: فَفَعَلُوا، فَاسْتَصْحَوْا، فَمَالُوا عَلَى الرُّعَاةِ فَقَتَلُوهُمْ وَسَاقُوا ذَوْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلَامِهِمْ، فَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي آثَارِهِمْ، فَأُتِيَ بِهِمْ، فَقَطَعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ، وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي الْحَرَّةِ حَتَّى مَاتُوا

Translation

✧ Some people of Urayna came to Madinah and found its climate disagreeable. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to them: If you wish, go out to the camels of the sadaqa and drink of their urine and milk. He said: They did so and recovered. Then they turned upon the herdsmen, killed them, and drove off the small herd of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and disbelieved after their Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent in pursuit of them. They were brought, and he cut off their hands and feet, put out their eyes, and left them in the lava field until they died.
