وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَقَدْ عَصَبَ رَأْسَهُ، فَلَقِيَهُ رِجَالٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكُمْ، إِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ قَدْ قَضَوُا الَّذِي عَلَيْهِمْ وَبَقِيَ الَّذِي عَلَيْكُمْ، فَاقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Anas

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came out one day with his head bandaged. Some men of the Ansar met him, and he said: By the One in whose hand is my soul, I love you. The Ansar have fulfilled what was upon them, and what is upon you remains, so accept from their good-doers and overlook their wrongdoers.
