حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ أَخَذَتْ بِيَدِهِ مَقْدَمَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا أَنَسٌ، وَهُوَ غُلَامٌ كَاتِبٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَنَسٌ: خَدَمْتُهُ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ، فَمَا قَالَ لِي لِشَيْءٍ صَنَعْتُهُ: أَسَأْتَ، أَوْ بِئْسَ مَا صَنَعْتَ

Translation

✧ Umm Sulaym took his hand when the Messenger of God ﷺ arrived in Madinah and said: O Messenger of God, this is Anas, and he is a boy who can write. Anas said: I served him for nine years, and he never said to me about anything I did: You did wrong, or How bad what you did.
