حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ:

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْمَدِينَةِ الظُّهْرَ أَرْبَعًا، وَبِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ. يَعْنِي الْعَصْرَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Zuhr in Madinah as four rak'ahs, and at Dhu al-Hulayfah two rak'ahs — meaning 'Asr.
