✧ Jibril came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was playing with the boys, and he took him, threw him down, split open his chest, and extracted from it a clot. He said: This is the share of Shaytan in you. Then he washed it in a basin of gold with Zamzam water, then he closed him up and returned it to its place. The boys went running to his mother — meaning his wet-nurse — and said: Muhammad has been killed. She met him while his color was changed. Anas said: I used to see the trace of the needle in his chest. And Hammad sometimes said: A visitor came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
