حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رُبَّمَا نَزَلَ عَنِ الْمِنْبَرِ وَقَدْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، فَيَعْرِضُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ فَيُحَدِّثُهُ طَوِيلًا ثُمَّ يَتَقَدَّمُ إِلَى مُصَلَّاهُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would sometimes descend from the pulpit after the prayer had been called, and a man would approach him and speak to him at length, then he would advance to his prayer place.
