✧ Tell me about the most amazing thing you saw. He said: Yes, O Thabit, I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for ten years, and he never criticized me for anything I did wrong. And when the Prophet of Allah ﷺ married Zaynab bt. Jahsh, my mother said to me: O Anas, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has become a bridegroom this morning, and I do not know whether he has any breakfast. Bring that small butter-skin. So I brought her the butter-skin and some dates, and she made hais for him. She said: O Anas, take this to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and his wife. When I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a stone vessel containing that hais, he said: Put it in a corner of the house, and invite for me Abu Bakr, Umar, Ali, Uthman, and a group of his companions, then invite for me the people of the mosque and whoever you see on the road. He said: I began to marvel at the small amount of food and the large number of people he was commanding me to invite, so I disliked to disobey him until the house and the room were full. He said: O Anas, do you see anyone? I said: No, O Prophet of Allah. He said: Bring that vessel. So I brought that vessel and placed it in front of him. He dipped three fingers into the vessel, and the vessel began to swell and rise. They began to eat breakfast and leave, until when they had all finished, there remained in the vessel about as much as I had brought. He said: Put it in front of Zaynab. So I left and closed a door made of palm branches. Thabit said: I said to Anas: How many do you think ate from that vessel? He said to me: I counted seventy-one or seventy-two.
