✧ Thabit al-Bunani from Anas

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

وَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَيْئًا، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَثَرَ الْوَجَعِ عَلَيْكَ لَبَيِّنٌ، قَالَ: إِنِّي عَلَى مَا تَرَوْنَ، قَدْ قَرَأْتُ الْبَارِحَةَ السَّبْعَ الطُّوَلَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ felt some pain. When morning came, it was said: "O Messenger of God, the trace of pain is clear on you." He said: "I am as you see, but last night I recited the seven long surahs."
