Musnad Abi Ya'la 3443

Translation

✧ A man said: "O Messenger of God, I love so-and-so for God's sake." He said: "Have you told him?" He said: "No." He said: "Go to him and tell him." He said: "So he went to him and told him, saying: 'O so-and-so, I love you for God's sake.' The other said: 'May He for whose sake you loved me love you.'"
