حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأُبُلِّيُّ بِالْبَصْرَةِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ بِالْبُرَاقِ مُسْرَجًا مُلْجَمًا، فَاسْتَصْعَبَ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ جِبْرِيلُ: أَبِمُحَمَّدٍ تَفْعَلُ هَذَا ؟ فَمَا رَكِبَكَ أَحَدٌ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللهِ مِنْهُ، قَالَ: فَارْفَضَّ الْبُرَاقُ عَرَقًا

✧ On the night he was taken on the Night Journey, the Prophet ﷺ was brought al-Buraq, saddled and bridled. It became difficult for him, so Jibril said to it: "Do you do this to Muhammad? No one has ridden you who is more honored by Allah than him." He said: "Then al-Buraq broke out in sweat."
