حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِالْبُرَاقِ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ مُسْرَجًا مُلْجَمًا لِيَرْكَبَهُ، فَاسْتَصْعَبَ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ جِبْرِيلُ: مَا يَحْمِلُكَ عَلَى هَذَا ؟ فَوَاللهِ مَا رَكِبَكَ أَحَدٌ قَطُّ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللهِ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] مِنْهُ، قَالَ: فَارْفَضَّ عَرَقًا
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was brought al-Buraq on the night of the Night Journey, saddled and bridled, for him to ride. It became difficult for him, so Gabriel said to it: 'What makes you do this? By Allah, no one ever rode you who is more honored by Allah [Mighty and Majestic] than him.' He said: So it broke out in a sweat.
