  • Ibn Khuzaymah

machine translationThis report is strange (gharīb), that is, the route of Maʿmar from Thābit from Anas; whereas the well-known one is from Maʿmar from Qatādah from Anas.

  • Abū Daʾūd

machine translationThe first hadith is more sound (aṣaḥḥ), meaning that the hadith of Anas is more sound than the hadith of Abū Rāfiʿ.

  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationAl-Firyābī said, from al-Thawrī, from Abū ʿUrwah, from Abū al-Khaṭṭāb, from Anas. Abū ʿUrwah is Maʿmar and Abū al-Khaṭṭāb is Qatādah, and this is the correct (ṣaḥīḥ) version.
