حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ:
كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً، فَأَمَرْتُ الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَذْيِ، فَقَالَ: مِنْهُ الْوُضُوءُ، وَمِنَ الْمَنِيِّ الْغُسْلُ
Translation

✧ I was a man who emitted madhy frequently, so I commanded al-Miqdad b. al-Aswad to ask the Messenger of God ﷺ about madhy. He said: "From it is wudu, and from mani is ghusl."
