حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ: مَنْ يُحِبُّ الْمَرْءَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلهِ، وَمَنْ كَانَ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، وَمَنْ كَانَ أَنْ يُلْقَى فِي النَّارِ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فِي الْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أَنْقَذَهُ اللهُ مِنْهُ

✧ Three things, whoever has them will find the taste of faith: one who loves a person, loving him only for God; one for whom God and His Messenger are more beloved than anything besides them; and one for whom being thrown into the Fire is more beloved than returning to disbelief after God has saved him from it.
