حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَوْمًا: لَأُحَدِّثَنَّكُمْ بِحَدِيثٍ لَا يُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِهِ أَحَدٌ بَعْدِي، سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ أَوْ قَالَ: مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ الْعِلْمُ، وَيَظْهَرَ الْجَهْلُ، وَيُشْرَبَ الْخَمْرُ، وَيَظْهَرَ الزِّنَا، وَيَقِلَّ الرِّجَالُ، وَيَكْثُرَ النِّسَاءُ، حَتَّى يَكُونَ لِلْخَمْسِينَ امْرَأَةً الْقَيِّمُ الْوَاحِدُ

✧ The Hour will not come — or he said: among the signs of the Hour — until knowledge is lifted, ignorance becomes widespread, wine is drunk, adultery becomes widespread, men become few, and women become many, until for fifty women there is a single guardian.
