حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:

جَاءَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أُمِّي مَاتَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا نَذْرٌ، وَلَمْ تَقْضِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا

✧ Sa'd b. 'Ubadah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: My mother died with a vow upon her, and she did not fulfill it. The Prophet ﷺ said to him: Fulfill it on her behalf.
