حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلْجَمًا بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ، وَمَنْ قَالَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ بِغَيْرِ مَا يَعْلَمُ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلْجَمًا بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ

Translation

✧ Whoever is asked about knowledge and conceals it will come on the Day of Resurrection bridled with a bridle of fire, and whoever speaks about the Quran without what he knows will come on the Day of Resurrection bridled with a bridle of fire.
