حَدَّثَنَا كَامِلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ مَوْلَى حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ:
أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا كَانُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَاضِرِينَ يَبْعَثُ بِالْهَدْيِ، فَمَنْ شَاءَ مِنَّا أَحْرَمَ، وَمَنْ شَاءَ مِنَّا تَرَكَ
Translation

✧ When they were with the Messenger of God ﷺ as residents, he would send the sacrificial animal. Whoever of us wished entered ihram, and whoever of us wished left it.
