حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ غُلَامًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهُ، وَأَنَّ الرَّجُلَ احْتَاجَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مِنِّي ؟ فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، فَأَخَذَ ثَمَنَهُ فَدَفَعَهُ إِلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ A man manumitted a slave of his to take effect after his death (tadbīr), and then the man fell into need. The Prophet ﷺ said: Who will buy him from me? Nuʿaym b. ʿAbd Allah bought him, and he took his price and gave it to him.
