حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هُبَيْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ:
اشْتَرَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنِّي بَعِيرًا كَانَ لِي وَنَحْنُ فِي سَفَرٍ، قَالَ: وَجَعَلَ لِي ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى أَنْ نَقْدَمَ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا أَتَيْتُهُ بِالْبَعِيرِ، فَدَفَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ، فَأَمَرَ لِي بِثَمَنِهِ: أُوقِيَّتَيْنِ، فَانْصَرَفْتُ، فَإِذَا رَسُولُهُ قَدِ اتَّبَعَنِي، فَقَالَ: هَلُمَّ يَدْعُوكَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ بَدَا لَهُ، فَلَمَّا أَتَيْتُهُ، قَالَ لِي: خُذْ بَعِيرَكَ، فَهُوَ لَكَ، قَالَ: فَانْصَرَفْتُ، فَلَقِيتُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْيَهُودِ، فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِالَّذِي كَانَ، فَجَعَلَ يَعْجَبُ، وَقَالَ: أَعْطَاكَ الثَّمَنَ وَرَدَّ عَلَيْكَ الْبَعِيرَ ؟

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ bought from me a camel that I owned while we were on a journey. He said: He granted me its use until we arrived. When we arrived, I brought him the camel and handed it over to him. He ordered for me its price: two uqiyyahs. I left, and there was his messenger following me. He said: 'Come, the Prophet ﷺ is calling you.' I thought that he had changed his mind. When I came to him, he said to me: 'Take your camel, for it is yours.' He said: I left and met a man from the Jews, and I told him what had happened. He began to marvel and said: 'He gave you the price and returned the camel to you?'
