حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، سَمِعَ عَمْرٌو، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ مُعَاذٌ يُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فَيَؤُمُّ قَوْمَهُ، فَأَخَّرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَيْلَةً الصَّلَاةَ، فَجَاءَ فَقَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: أَفَتَّانٌ يَا مُعَاذُ ؟

✧ Muadh used to pray with the Prophet ﷺ, then return and lead his people in prayer. One night the Prophet ﷺ delayed the prayer, then he came and recited Surah al-Baqarah. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Are you a troublemaker, O Muadh?"
