حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:

دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبَا طَيْبَةَ فَحَجَمَهُ، فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ضَرِيبَتِهِ ؟ فَقَالَ: ثَلَاثَةُ آصُعٍ، قَالَ: فَوَضَعَ عَنْهُ صَاعًا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ called Abu Tayba and had him cup him, then asked him about his tax. He said: 'Three sa's.' He said: So he reduced one sa' for him.
