✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed over the slain of Uhud after eight years, like one bidding farewell to the living and the dead. He said: Verily before you are forerunners; I am a witness over you. Your appointed meeting is the Hawd, and I see it from this place of mine. Its width is as between Ayla and al-Juhfa. Verily I have been given the keys of the treasures of the earth while I am in this station of mine. Verily I do not fear for you that you associate partners, but I fear for you the world, that you compete for it. 'Uqbah said: It was the last look I looked at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
