حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ عَازِبٍ، وَكَانَ غَيْرَ كَذُوبٍ، قَالَ:

كُنَّا نُصَلِّي خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَإِذَا قَالَ: سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، لَمْ يَحْنِ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا ظَهْرَهُ حَتَّى يَضَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ جَبْهَتَهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، فَإِذَا وَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ خَرَرْنَا سُجُودًا

✧ We used to pray behind the Messenger of God ﷺ, and when he said: 'God hears the one who praises Him', none of us would bend his back until the Prophet ﷺ placed his forehead on the ground, and when he placed his forehead on the ground we would fall down in prostration.
