✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ when revelation came down upon him. When revelation came down upon him, his gaze remained fixed, his eyes open, and his hearing and heart were devoted to what came to him from Allah. He said: We recognized that from him. He said to the scribe: Write: 'Not equal are those believers who sit and those who strive in the cause of Allah.' Then a blind man stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah, what is our sin? Then Allah sent down revelation. We said to the blind man: Revelation is coming down upon the Prophet ﷺ. He feared that something concerning his matter was being revealed, so he remained standing, saying: I seek refuge from the anger of the Messenger of Allah. He said: Then the Prophet ﷺ said to the scribe: Write: 'Other than the disabled.'
