حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ:
قُلْنَا لِأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ: هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْعَزْلِ شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَ: سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ قَالَ: " وَمَا الْعَزْلُ ؟ " قَالَ: قُلْنَا: الرَّجُلُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْمَرْأَةُ تُرْضِعُ، فَيُصِيبُ مِنْهَا وَيَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْبَلَ فَيَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا، وَتَكُونُ لَهُ الْجَارِيَةُ فَيُصِيبُ مِنْهَا وَيَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْبَلَ فَيَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَلَّا تَفْعَلُوا ذَلِكَ، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ الْقَدَرُ

✧ We asked Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, 'Did you hear anything from the Messenger of God ﷺ about coitus interruptus?' He said, 'We asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about coitus interruptus. He said, "What is coitus interruptus?" We said, "A man has a wife who is nursing, he has intercourse with her but dislikes that she becomes pregnant, so he withdraws from her; or he has a slave girl, he has intercourse with her but dislikes that she becomes pregnant, so he withdraws from her." The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "It does not matter if you do not do that, for it is only decree."'
