حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
" يَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ تَطْمَئِنُّ إِلَيْهِمُ الْقُلُوبُ، وَتَلِينُ لَهُمُ الْجُلُودُ، ثُمَّ يَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُمُ الْجُلُودُ، وَتَشْمَئِزُّ مِنْهُمُ الْقُلُوبُ ". قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَلَا نُقَاتِلُهُمْ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، مَا أَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ

✧ There will be rulers over you to whom hearts feel at ease and skins soften. Then there will be rulers over you from whom skins shudder and hearts recoil. A man said, 'O Messenger of God, should we not fight them?' He said, 'No, as long as they establish the prayer.'
