✧ While Abu Sa'id al-Khudri was praying on Friday toward something that screened him from the people, a young man from Banu Mu'ayt came and wanted to pass in front of him. He said: Abu Sa'id pushed him in his chest, and he found no way except what was in front of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, so he returned, and Abu Sa'id pushed him in his chest harder than the first push. He said: He stood still, then he reviled Abu Sa'id. He said: Abu Sa'id entered upon Marwan, who said: What is the matter between you and your nephew? He came complaining about you. Abu Sa'id al-Khudri said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: When one of you prays and someone wants to pass in front of him, let him push him in his chest; if he refuses, let him fight him, for he is only a devil.
